i didn't see it in the article, but i assume those flights will go "over the top"?
Condor airlines does it for flights AK > Frankfurt, and I think Iceland Air does it from here to Rejkavik too. pretty crazy.

i poked around on their site to see the details. these fights are 9.5 hours, so yeah, probably over the top. also, the base fare at $199 is an unreserved seat; 289 gets reserved. the earliest to book is september. i didn't dig deep enough to see what other cites i could get nonstop from seattle.

I heard Iceland Air does a thing where you can stop over for up 7 days in Iceland (for free) when you travel back to the US from Europe

funny thing about booking norwegian airlines now, they have no return flights back to the US. what's that about?
