Watching the first episode with Obama now.

He does a great job of slamming the current administration and the 'completely different world' that conservative live in while not being too specific and getting away from the topic quickly.

also, says other stuff.

I'm looking forward to watching it. It will also be nice to see Letterman in an environment where he doesn't have to worry about advertising or pleasing executives in a studio. It appears he has by and large been given free range to do what he likes with this format.

great first episode.

what a stark contrast between the thoughtful and introspective delivery of our past president, and what we have now. that realization, mid-interview, bummed me out a little bit.

and also Trump tweeting that Senator John Lewis was all talk and no action, and then they showed pictures of him getting beat by police officers in 1965

Didn't he have sex with a bunch of people at his job?

Feels like he might have created a hostile work environment and abused his power

That realization kind of overwhelmed me the first time I started watching it. I had to put the laptop down and take a valium.

Letterman and Me

One of the few women ever to write for Late Night with David Letterman, the author (a longtime V.F. contributor) remembers a hostile, sexually charged atmosphere.

Because he was blackmailed for $2 million dollars.

i would suggest viewing it with a headful of dramamine

it's like the wall and ceilings are made of cameras set to different zoom depths and a team of chimps on amphetamines is frantically changing the shot every 5 seconds

I noticed the stage wall behind them moving. I was really confused.
