That book inspired me to start running again last January

Been pretty steady on it ever since

Wish it inspired me to become a famous novelist too

I need to read shitty authors to get inspired to write

because otherwise I'm like, "yeah, nothing I come up with will be this good"

Ha right

His story is amazing

The first book he ever tried to write he wrote on his free time while running his own jazz club at the age of 30. it was immediately published and every book after was more successful than the last

He's a real talent

There's other authors I enjoy reading more, because I generally like reading books I don't have to think about as much, but dude can fucking write

I think with him you have to try not to interpret and just let it wash over you. I honestly think he writes from the subconscious and isn’t planning all that much out
