Interviews, yes. A quality job, no.

Indeed got me my current position.

I've had 2-3 other interviews off it.

Recruiters who ping you off indeed and then dont call back really piss me off.

I’ve been using all three services. It’s odd to just send out one standard resume and no cover letter and expect a hiring manager to be impressed enough to call me for an interview.

Have hired over 20 employees using Indeed. Have also had success with career builder.

Cover letter giving a quick background on yourself and why you'd excel at the job is the best way to stand out and rise to the top of the resume pile.

At least one of these services doesn’t have the option to attach a cover letter, but if it’s an option, I use it.

Once.

Used it yesterday actually to apply for a gig in Puerto Rico and Houston. I know in my career indeed is pretty probably the most popular way besides connections.

can't you just make the cover letter the first page of your resume? One document?

I could, but it would be a very broad, general cover letter.

I like the idea, I’ll consider it.

Former recruiter here.
Always this. Each cover letter should be tailored towards the company and job that you’re applying for, use a general template but always tweak it specifically for the job.

Got my current gig applying through ZipRecruiter.

I've used it to find job postings. Most of those sites post the same jobs, so it's tough to say which site actually landed me a job.

I think I’ve applied for the same job on at least two different sites. It gets confusing real fast on mobile.
