Because I want people to know that I agree with them without having to muck up a threat with "i agree".

Mods--implement.

well, technically the hipster way would be to provide a "like" option, but not a "dislike" option.

because you know, we only want to be happy and positive...not put anyone down for their opinions...

so if we are going to a "like" option, make sure to implement a "dislike" option.

hey knightline i saw your report
you should read milliways' post above
you should also understand that asking a mod to alter phpBB code is like asking a rent-a-cop to solve a triple homicide case

srsly though i have been a mod for that long and i have never been asked/expected to change code
assuming that this is a mod's responsibility is erroneous

Why don't we just all move to Reddit?

DD and Wooten both have technical skills I believe. Y'all two go set it up and the rest of us will come on over in a bit

For the salary you guys pull, the least you could do is learn how to write SQL queries.

Also, if they follow that guide everyone would have to switch the 'prosilver' theme to be able to use the 'Like Button'. You'd have to change the 'subsilver2' theme separately; and if the mobile view is technically another theme, you have to switch things in there, too.

And I'd have to look closer, but I don't know if all the different themes would talk to each other and the 'Like' count would update across them.

You'd need some kind of masochist with loads of free time to work the whole thing out.

:puke:

But I remember Leonard complaining about how most of the board still uses subsilver2. I'd switch to prosilver, but I just really don't like it.
