Yup, bought some as an anniversary gift years ago.

There is this one manufacturer that makes ones that play really interesting scales. Like different ethnic styles.

Don’t have an opinion one way or the other.

The gf likes them. I kind of feel like a dick for making the neighbors listen to them. Then on the other hand I don’t give a fuck.

This..... esp the real long, heavy ones that don't chime with every little breeze, but take some effort and resonate out nice and low.

And this. Wife has a nice one in the backyard.

Unless you live out in the country, your neighbors are going to be reminded how much you suck every time the wind blows.

i love wind chimes (i do live in the country).

i had a cool thought a while ago that i want some wind chimes that contain the first few notes of dark star (is that possible) and then every now and then the proper order and cadence would ring out and sound like dark star? is this possible?

The opening notes of Shine On You Crazy Diamond would be badass.

Or the bass notes of A Love Supreme.

We had one. Made out of sand dollars that I picked up at an antique (junk) shop on a Cape Cod weekend.

I found it very relaxing on a warm summer evening with a beverage in hand.

Now I'm wondering whatever became of it...

The more I think about it, the more I think I'd hang a "Chike On You Crazy Diamond" wind chime in my yard.
