This is the thread where phookers on the go can list travel plans for the week and get recs from the good folks of phook. I feel like there are a lot of missed opportunities to hang with phookers, so this is the spot to make that happen while on the road.

Flying to Indy Wednesday. Have dinner plans that night and will be kicking it with an old college buddy Thursday in Bloomington, IN. Might be able to squeeze in a happy hour beer Wednesday before dinner if anyone is interested. Will be heading back to the dirty Friday morning.

Wynkoop brewing in Denver was very disappointing.
Won't be going back.

16k miles already this year. United Platimum here i come.

My favorite indulgence is Amex Platinum. Its pricey but real benefits to my travel lifestyle are welcome

$200 free on united per year
gold status with Starwood
access to amex louges in airport (food, booze)
access to priority pass (several hundred aiport lounges free)
cool assed metal card that can be used as ninja throwing star
+++

use their travel concierge quite a bit for personal travel.

Also, Delta Priority should check out the Sky Club at Terminal B in ATL.

Good spots I found in Columbus, OH;

The Guild House - solid spot for dinner
16 Bit - Old school arcade bar
La Chaveta Cigar Bar - It's BYOB so grab some beers before going

Not a bad town, wish I would have spent a little more time close to campus.

There's lots of finer dining type places but not really sure if you want to go to those places by yourself or it you're just looking to have some decent food while you drink. I don't think I'd hit many of them unless I was bringing a date.

Pizza: Osteria Marco
General: Acorn at the Source, you can hit Crooked Stave Brewery while you are there. Steuben's is a good local staple.
Ramen: Bones

Honestly, most of the breweries directly downtown aren't all that great. Falling Rock has a good tap list. There's a First Draft just north of the baseball field in the RINO District. I also like Ratio Beerworks and Finns Manor in RINO.

A little further south of "downtown" - Lowdown also has good pizza and some good beers. Baere has really good beers, some people like TRVE (they aren't my favorite)

I might be able to meet you for a beer on Monday or Tuesday night if you want.
