If you don't know what live clogging is, just forget I said anything but put it in the back of your mind. And when you accidentally randomly stumble into it some day, get back to me. I'd love to chat more about it & attempt to dissect it with you at that time.

I miss it. I don't miss worrying about going to jail for having a little bit of weed but I miss the bluegrass and mountains.

oooooh. There's a place in Spartanburg that boils them in a salty brine. Like tepid sea water. They come out all mushy and marinated in salty brine deliciousness. You MUST try them. And I recommend just choking down the entire handful, shells and all.

Dropping peanuts in Coke is a southern tradition. Coke is often belittled in NC though so I guess RC acts a substitute. RC and Moon Pies are like peanut butter and chocolate in the south too.

RC is tied to Moon Pies for other reasons...Coke was viewed as the lesser of Pepsi as Pepsi was started in New Bern NC and Coke in Georgia.

Headed back to Utah tomorrow.

Haven’t seen family since January 9.

Close on my house there. Wife and kids get on plane and fly to Charlotte.

Me and the dogs are driving back to North Carolina. 2200 miles.

Ugh.

Close on the house in NC next Tuesday.

No more moving for a looooong time.

There’s a soil sampling and analysis lab tech position open at Duke right now for their environmental program.
I kinda wanna apply for a laugh. They want an MS but I have a decade of experience

My solo drive out here from Seattle with the dogs was one of the highlights of my life. Are you able to take your time or are you just going to high tail it out?

Wife and I miss the south and thinking we might move back. North Carolina would be a top choice. Loved it there

Delayed in Denver. Typical. Two hours.

It’s always obvious seeing which flight is bound for SLC. All white people and a million babies.

RDF:

Hightail. Just got my closing moved up to Monday I think.

Thanks everybody I am really excited.

Can’t wait to see my family today.

Karma works! Offered my window seat up to a struggling older big lady. Was rewarded with an aisle seat and no one next to me one row back by a flight attendant.

Woo hoo!

Weird flight. tomrobin's doppelganger sat in front of me. Something was leaking out of the overhead compartment above me and got me all wet so I had to move seats again.

Thanks!

Moving truck was scheduled for Thursday afternoon but unfortunately got moved back to late this morning. I couldn’t leave SLC until 1. Just arrived in Cheyenne. Roads west of Laramie were blown over by snow and sketchy as hell.

The dogs are barking every time they hear a noise out in the hallway. Should be a great night.

Going to try for Columbia MO or maybe even St Louis tomorrow.
