I would recommend not listening to them before going to see them actually. Trust the person with the best musical taste on this site (me) and go in blind and have your world rocked.

I was actually going to suggest that. If you go and absolutely hate it, I will paypal you a refund of your ticket price. That's easy money for me though.

I definitely wouldn't lie about it... but lets be honest, there is no way its so bad I demand JB pay me my $17+fees back. I don't know that I've ever saw a show so bad that I wanted my money back.

just listened to Live, Vol. 2

sounds like a mashup of moe/umphrey's/ekoostik hookah...so a very generic jamband

will reserve final judgement until after I see them on the 14th

I'm going to check these dudes out tomorrow night. Going in blind, so wish me luck.
Do they generally play 2 sets? The opener doesn't start until 9, so probably just one, right?

They play 2 sets for sure. Unless its billed as a one set show, but that would be weird.

You will definitely enjoy yourself.

The show from 1/13/17 in Detroit is up on nugs.net now, second set opens with a West LA Fadeaway.

Those guys are tight right now, should be a fun show.

Should be two sets - they play late.

DLed the Milwookie show, it's hot.

Possibly going to see them this Saturday. Loved them last time I saw them. That gitter player is most gooder.

Was also possibly thinking about going to this show at the Chameleon. My sons basketball game was rescheduled to Saturday night, so I'm out...

I had never heard them play but that Salamander Song came on JamOn the other day. That's some catchy stuff right there.

Listened to some yesterday. All i kept thinking was how much they sound like Bisco. Didn't expect that given the level of fluff i see around here.

I think they've been compared to every early to mid 00s jamband.

Except Panic :Bananeyessss:

(because Panic isn't a jamband)

Watched the first set. Stream wasn't good quality, but they just posted that they're coming back with soundboard audio for set 2.

I'm watching. Unimpressed so far. They sound like they are trying to be a mix of Phish and Disco Biscuits to me, among other things. Totally unoriginal.

In other news, Ominous Seapods played two killer shows this weekend, after not playing together for six years, and they killed it!

Positive review.. they were definitely better than Twiddle, probably on par with Aqueous and Dopapod.

Audio for last nights stream was awful at some points. Tons of feedback. Turned it off before they fixed it. Looking forward to catching them next week.

Pardon me while I interject for a second... My MIL was joking on Bill Walton the other night when we were watching the game. I told her and my husband about how RDF (I think) called Brez the Bill Walton of Spafford and we all had a good laugh for a bit. Husband knows Brez, but I had to describe him to MIL. She was just about as tickled as we were.
