So I walked out early last night at MSG in honor of Coz and I bumped into one of his closest childhood friends in the staircase... he was walking out early too. Wearing Coz's black shades... we walked and talked together for a few minutes... I mean what are the chances of that being timed so perfectly?!? I hadn't seen this cat in years, he's wearing it pretty badly after losing several of his friends this past year. We got down to the street, hugged it out and went our separate ways. Felt like Coz was with us in some weird way.

Ran into Jason0626 last night and were talking about coz, sharing some memories. Reminiscing about when we were younger, Phatte Cottage Weekend, and when the NYC crew rolled deep. Spent many shows with those guys, coz included. Not certain I would have caught him at the shows or not, but it's hard not to think about lost phriends when Phish plays sappy tunes like Miss You (which I like) on occasion.

I listened to some highlights of the Summer Tour earlier and thought to myself "I think Pete might've even liked this."

Holy crap. I ran into Kocyla yesterday at the show, and told him to say his to Coz. I went to high school with him. He broke the sad news to me. I was floored. Who did you see wearing his glasses? I would know him. Such a tragedy. He was such a nice, friendly, and sincere guy. I'll miss him.

nice seeing you James. I definitely thought about Coz a few times over the weekend. He wasn't a good friend of mine but he was a friend and losing him hit me harder than I expected.

Glad to read these threads and the spirit of Coz lives on. I cant recall meeting up but I am pretty sure I have met him over the years. There was a lookalike on Saturday night when I walked out.

Pete would have liked that CTD last night.

Def was thinking about him as Trey ripped through the song portion.

I met Coz two years ago today in Tuscaloosa. We -and a few other Phookers - hung out before the show, then Coz, Mrs Schof and I raged the second set together.

Same. We spent a lot of time together back in the day. In recent years, not as much, but still many great memories.

Great to see this thread going. Not knowingly meeting him, our paths have crossed most likely, but I sure as hell saw some look a likes over the run that made me think of him and all you folks that were friends with him. Celebrate for sure.

How many people here met Pete? A LOT of us, it seems. And not just in the south or Florida or one region. We've seen stories and pictures from all over America, it seems. Dude got around. That's impressive.

Sober coz and I were hanging out in a bar by the venue preshow Jacksonville last year. Pete randomly ran into someone he knew from up north in the bar. I'm 99% sure it's the dude in black Pete has his hand on with 2 fingers sticking out. I can't remember the name. Last time I saw coz.

I kind of felt myself wishing he could have whipped his dick out in the "Have you seen Pink Floyd" thread. His void here is still very noticeable. Hopefully it will always stay noticeable.

Thinking about him today with regards to the 10/3/99 vs 10/4/99 shows and how much he mentioned liking the second night. If the show thread was posted he would have been in it.
