I made the call Fri night to go to Stratton VT for GSBG instead of heading down to NYC for BD12.

Granted the BD12 tickets were hard to come by but I do not regret that decision at all

They put on a great show and follow the 2 set format.

Have loads of great songs and choice covers and will jam.

Hard not to have a good time.

Yes they are that good.
Archive.org / ReListen app has a few hundred recordings. The recent Bell's Brewery run was recorded by kieth and is a great snapshot into their current state. 06/01-03/2017.
See also: 03/10-11/17; 03/31/17; 06/09/17; 07/22/17

Also, they have their catalogue on Spotify and they make great records and have a few live albums on there as well.

Their foundation is bluegrass so if you don't like that, it's a problem lol. But they aren't exclusively bgrass.

But they have two excellent songwriters, good cover selection, are consistently upgrading production/lights and will jam the shit out of several sections each show.

Listening as well because of this thread, lol

Strongly considering the 75-min drive to Louisville.

Word on the street is the Asheville show will be outside instead of inside. An outside show in mid October could be dicey.

Sounds awesome to me! It will be cool but October is usually pretty dry and clear...

Yeah I suppose. Not gonna lie I was pretty excited for a small intimate Salvage show, but the one time I've seen an outdoor show there it was a ton of fun. It makes more sense to have it in the field.
