I need new tv. My netflix algorithm is totally fucked because of my kid.

Love :30 min episodes, because I dont have to commit so much time each night.

Love comedies, stupid, romantic, family, all of the above.

What ya into lately?

I would say The Handmaid's Tale, but it doesn't meet any of your requirements........ though it did get a lot of awards at the Emmys

it's pretty disturbing and dark, but well acted

There's a new true crime parody show on Netflix called American Scandal that looks funny

Thanks. I will download tonight. :)

Currently the only TV shows I am watching are Broad City and Vice Principals.

The guys who did Peep Show have a new series together, but I can't seem to find it online.

The new season of One Mississippi is really good. Way more fun, fuller, and socially aware than the first season. Plus it's only 6 half hour episodes. I binged all 6 last night. Good stuff.

I totally recommend it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first season, but this season is almost a different show. Not nearly as depressing, and the rest of the family is way more fleshed out and three-dimensional. And that makes for a better show.

Eh. Probably. As long as you know the basic backstory you can probably skip 1. And that is Tig gets cancer, has a double mastectomy, then her mom dies. So she moves back home to Mississippi to live with her step dad and bro. There, now you Can skip it.

Like I said, I liked it. But it's pretty dark for a comedy. I could totally see why people would get turned off. Season 2 is a much easier watch.

Probably already figured it out by now but it's called American Vandal not Scandal

I think I'll skip to season 2. I had heard tig talk about the horrible events a lot so could never bring myself to watch 1. Maybe if I fall in love with 2 I'll watch it.

Actually I didn't. Haha.

I typed in American Scandal on The Pirate Bay and then my friend called me. I chatted with him for a bit and then started doing other things and never got around to googling for the correct title.

So thanks. :)

What We Do in the Shadows is on Amazon Prime. It is a vampire mockumentary that I found quite funny. Has Jemaine Clement in it.

Catastrophe S3 is up on Amazon. That may be my favorite original show on any streaming service. So funny, and a lot of heart.

The new season is just as good as the previous two. And it’s UK-style with only six 30-minutes episodes per season. I’ve watched each season in basically one or two sittings as soon as they went up.

We've been watching and enjoying Easy on Netflix. Cool concept and holy celebrity titties . It's almost a porn at times.

On Netflix you can make accounts. When you sign in it will say "Who's Watching". You can give your daughter her own account.
As to suggestions

Really enjoyed TURN. AMC show about the Culper Spy Ring during the Revolutionary War. All 4 seasons are on Netflix.

I'm pretty sure you can get this on Netflix, but I'm not 100%. This is, imo, one of the best shows I have seen in the past decade.

I am not high on it as you are but that is probably because I watch way too much netflix. It is a great recommendation. Very quirky feel good show.

watched in on amc as they aired. enjoyed it but then again anything involving history, war and espionage is enticing for me. after the end of the show washington(the actor playing him) started popping up in different shows, Homeland, maybe Billions too..had never seen him before turn. and bummed it ended.

Peaky fucking Blinders on netflix! that's my rec..still waiting for season 4, seems like its been forever!

Now this is what I'm talking about. The Peaky Fucking Blinders. I dl'ed the last episode last night. So far this season has been great and outside of the usual crew, we have two new heavy hitters to the cast along with Tom Hardy as an all time favorite character.

It's one of my favorite running shows for sure. My news boy cap, sans razors, was busted out a few weeks ago as it started to get cold. Love the shit out of this show.

There’s some good recommendations here (Atypical, Godless, etc.) but Netflix’s Dark blows everything away!

If Mindhunter hasn’t been mentioned, yeah, that’s another good show to watch.

Right, well, you will have to add another ton onto your bill, for being a cunt, mate, alright
Solomons might be one of the best characters in tv in some time. Don’t want to ruin it for others, but it’s been a pretty good season so far.

Tom Hardy is on a show called Taboo which is also great. Season 2 of that starts this spring I think

Checking out Wormwood today. Just added to netflix. From what I understand it's about MK Ultra and some other CIA stuff.
