Yeah.. that's why the word "another" was utilized.

Because it is theorized that they might do the Baker's Dozen without any repeats. They're saying they're finding it hard to believe that either Tweezer or Slave will not show up again in the remaining 12 shows.

Tough call on the repeats. They havent repeated anything this tour right? I got the idea of not repeating for the BD, guess it could be all tour. Either way they could do it and if they go two more without a repeat its kind of like getting to the 7th inning with a no hitter.

I thought it was better than Dayton. Easily.

Tweezer > -7 was a great chunk of jamming
Moonage Daydream!?!
Mango, Billy Breathes...cool gets that they definitely don't play all that often
Timber Ho was great. Loved the jam
That new song in the second set was awesome

It was better than all of them combined. All those shows were the bricks we built this one with. Everything's Right so just hold tight.

On the no repeats:

They showed that they could play 5 straight shows without a repeat. Starting tonight, they easily COULD do it. If they want to, if they want to. 19 songs tonight. 19x13=247. We will know by next weekend for sure.

Set 1: B+
Set 2: A-
Overall: A-

Moonage was absolutely rocking and an early Reba was a surprise. A few of the second set jams could've been extended, but were tight nonetheless. They're having fun while playing loose, a good sign of things to come.

I hope there are repeats...for the very least for the fans at the show. We go to shows chasing some songs, and if you happen to have a ticket after 1 or more of those you are chasing are played...that's a bit of a bummer. It could also raise an interesting competition - which Reba jam was best(?), etc. etc.

A good tweeprise tomorrow night and then another later down the road - who would complain?

And to clarify the no repeat thing. We are talking no repeats during the bakers dozen run, not the whole summer tour. Come on hippies, get it together.

I know that Phish is much more of a "you had to be there" sort of thing these days, but I was there, and it was fucking great. Probably one of the better first sets that I have witnessed. I had such killer seats (115 Row 4, basically on the stage) that my perspective bias is probably off the charts, but holy shit that was fun.

We'll see what it looks like from the suites tonight. Can't wait.

Trey had a list in front of him that he was calling the songs from. I wouldn't say a set list because there was still a bit of decision making, and some last second changes (Reba for example). But it was very clear from where I was sitting (basically inside them) that much of the show was planned and prepared for. My guess is that they will hit just about every track on all of their studio albums as a goal for this run.

No repeats.

That's how they've been doing it for a while now. Not a set list, but a list of 40-50 songs that are "eligible" for the night.

I thought the playing throughout was best of the tour. Couple headscratchers setlist wise but that's 3.0

My first timber that was awesome.
Martian monster? Yes sir.
555 is a great song.
Everything's right is good but way too happy.
They tried to put me to sleep set 2. I was way over it by the encore.

Really? The tweezer peaked, the seven below peaked, the sparkle was upbeat, the everything's right got weird and funky, and the Suzy peaked. I'm curious what you prefer for songs to keep it rocking for you. No judgement, just interested to know from your perspective.

It just dragged to me. I was hoping for more punch and less groove. It was good and cool stuff to see. It felt to me like it needed something like it's ice in the second set to bridge all that jamming that didn't go much of anywhere to me. Honestly I'm not much of a fan of any of the songs after tweezer

Your probably right trout. After watching the nutter stream the other day and seeing how people reacted to it here, I honestly think the band can do no wrong for many

Did they do 8 minutes of ambient noodling? Did they then get loud at one point while trey half heartedly trilled? Was it over 15 minutes long? Then it was amazing

Different strokes I guess. I thought the -7 was spacious and tight...and Billy Breathes > Sparkle was vintage placement. My single complaint about last night was the Slave. You could hear Trey lose his footing on peaking it before the water really even got warm for it. He was frustrated with himself over it.

I loved seeing everyone having a good time. The band especially. I love that band that's for sure. Still second set lacked.

I will say this. People give Phish shit for not having good vocals. I thought the vocals on 555 and everything's right were some of the best I've heard from the band.

They were on vocally last night. They shined on Shake Your Coconuts I thought.

Had a group of 6 newbies and two long time fans in the backyard for a listening/viewing party.

first set was meh until Reba. Everyone, 'specially the newbs, loved Reba.

Moonage Daydream was the highlight of the night for me.

Second set was most enjoyed by everyone....ups and downs for sure....but songs like sparkle and suzy greenburg were enjoyed by the newbs....I loved the Tweezer and shit, I don't even know what songs they were, but there were a few sections in the later second set that Page was laying out amazing, Floyd Like, grooves.

My one buddy, total newb said "don't know what the fuck they are playing, but I could listen to this for hours..." - a few dabs had been consumed by that point :)

My other buddy, newb, but musician, was truly floored by Reba. His wife, completely unaware to everything Phish or jambands said she liked Billy Breathes....said it sounded like a different band :) :)

Tonight....can't wait!
