Pigtail
Halfway

were also really, really good. Pigtail was a shock having only been played 4 times ever before that. I also thought Trey's call there was about to ruin the flow they had going for them. The false start was priceless. Fish/Trey were loving sharing the vocals...then Trey just ripped it. I'm ALWAYS a sucker for Halfway to the Moon. That entire first set was SUPER legit.

It's ok but lol at acting like pigtail halfway to the moon is some kind of revelatory combo.

It was a pretty good show overall, everyone should take a deep breath though.

It's probably not even top 10 3.0.

It would surprise me if they didn't repeat. However I can totally see them saving Tweeprise for Night 13

Agree to disagree. I'm last guy to be fluffing the hell out of 3.0 PHiSH...but they did no wrong last night.
Except for Slave.

Last night felt like everyone's first Phish show to me. Everyone was so excited and was so curious as to what they were going to do. Lots of buzz. The song selections kinda made it more so....most around me where like, hmmmmm, what's this....fun!

Agree. Really enjoyed the Reba > Moonage > Walls to close set 1.

Also agree with whoever said the second set was a little boring. I liked the jams, but it definitely could have used something for a little more energy before they finally got it with Suzy at the end.

Mike (i think) was teasing Golden Age before Tweezer started.

I thought Golden Age too. Sounded like Trey was teasing that riff.

I don't think they matched some of the jams from earlier in this tour; but I think last night was the best performance so far this tour. They were on point last night. Not too many flubs, vocals weren't too bad, everything seemed to be played with purpose (not a lot of noodling), etc.

Would be fun if they just dropped into tweezer throughout the run--like one long tweezerfest set.

It would be.

The fact they didn't reprise it, does kinda indicate that there will be no repeats too.

I guess they can play Tweezer again, w/o reprise....but I bet they don't.

I listen to the Reba again a few hours ago as well. The build up after the versus > the open is so on. Then Trey stays in the pocket for such a good jam.
I almost still cant believe how smooth are the transitions were. On point.

I thought Page was MVP of last night. Fish was on his game for the first part of the second set, but Page brought it home the last few songs. Mango Song was a great call to carry Page's momentum into the encore.

I can't remember when it was (either Seven Below or Everything's All Right), but there was a point where Trey sustained on one note for a while and Page just started tearing it up. Trey just kept up the sustain to let Page shine. Great moment.
