Right ?
What's your opinion ?

Without having heard it, i tend to think of a "reprise" as coming back for just a short part of the song. Think GD 12/26/79 Shakedown> UJB Reprise (just the whoa hoa what I want to know oh part)
If they do a full verse (or more) of said song I think it's just an "> back into....
How much of the tune did they save for the second helping tonight?

Bunch of musicians up in here know it's totally easy to rehearse close to 300 songs

It's possible sure, but don't be disappointed when they drop a repeat next Friday night.

Either way, by definition, they're "reprising" it.

Of course they have that many songs, I'm most curious to know where they find the jams when Tweezer, DWD, Ghost, Sand, Mike's, Twist, and their other go-tos get played.

i feel like just the way the past two days' setlists have been structured they're setting it up for no repeats.

Peaches and Coil were both so much cleaner tonight.

No repeats is cool, but when they play stuff often, it's generally better.

Hoping for some repeats for that reason and more so for the songs that I miss when I leave early :)

(I'm kidding. I've seen them enough where #noregrets)

I think they've also shown with songs like Caspian the other night, or even Moma tonight, they will
Stretch out and type 2 whatever they want on this tour. Pretty cool.

There are just so many songs.

Especially if they dig into the covers.

playing a song and then playing it a week later with no practice of said song in between doesn't mean they are gonna nail or no nail the song.

That is true, but if you really fuck up part of the first version, I'm sure you're making note of that and practicing it before the next time.

They are playing really well in general but they aren't crushing every song. They haven't crushed soam in 18 years.

No, but I bet they run through it again, and work on what they messed up. And the nerves of playing something you haven't attpemted in a while is gone.

They claim they don't critique each others playing, but I'm sure they discuss shows.

LOVE 2.0 but never got the Coventry Melt fluffing. Is it because the rest of Coventry sucked so bad, so graded on a curve? I mean, I was there and didn't feel it then, nor now, and can't see how it is supposed to stand with some of the all-time best Melts.

That said, they are playing really well now for the most part, but not everything they touch. A bit hyperbolic, that.

They didn't crush BOAF. Peaches was rough in the early part, it sounded like trey was in the wrong key or something but it got better.

I'm def nit picking here, I've loved how they've played so far on 90% of the songs. They're killing it in general, normally I could take it or leave it with a song like GTBT last night but it smoked. I definitely like what I'm hearing. That DWD reprise was forced early but delivered after they settled in. Great DWD tonight too. Cheers!

Just got home. Fun times with a down pour.

Went into the run with a very open mind. They can be playing along but things are certainly pointing to them not repeating. They knocked off a good amount of main stays but maybe they will be down for the challenge.

All I know is I am having a lot of fun. Feels like old times. They are locked in from what I've been seeing. Trey knows he owns that room. For friends who haven't made a show yet, after tonight the message is drop what you are doing and get to tomorrow. Obviously that is based on it being feasible location wise but it's been a while since I've that way.

I was at the show. Didn't read the thread. Was kind of just looking for the name of the new Page tune and posted that.

These two shows have been incredible. This run is going to be very special.

As mentioned in another thread, I am usually ready to call it quits after two nights, but it they were to continue to play like this, I could do all 13.
