Seriously, the Lawn Boy delivers on tape. I was afraid to put it on and have it ruin my impression of the evening. If anything, the recording has further cemented last night as one of the best shows I've ever seen

Lost in the shuffle was that Sample. After they sang the "the simple smiles and good times seem all wrong" line it was like everyone fell through a door to some trippy portal and came back to reality five minutes later. That was a really sweet jam even with the whale included.

Is there Exodus teasing in Lawnboy? Or the Exodus riff?

Summed up perfectly. Yeah you hear the crowd go apeshit with the realization, or reminder, that it's "jami filled" night!

Interesting placement for the Sample jam. Anyone know the reason...just wanted to jam Sample in another key?

My guess is that it just fit best there. The solo itself isn't really a good spot to throw in a jam because it's a tightly composed solo.

Said earlier in the show thread that it'd be surprising if they didn't release the Lawn Boy on YT. Glad to see that it happened......

....but really, they should just post the whole show.

First post in this thread because it took me too long to finally listen to the Lawn Boy (which I ended up doing via headphones while mowing my lawn for added oomph).

Holy shit.

Also listened to the C&P, but put the LB Jam above it to get the Championship Belt for the night.

Just gave Lawn Boy a listen for the first time. That is why I listen to this band. That is exactly what I to hear. Can't wait to hear the rest of the show.
