He's Jam Master Jay, the big beat blaster
He gets better cause he knows he has to
In '84 he'll be a little faster
And only practice makes a real Jam Master

Gonna be a yuge YEM, I'd think.

Also be dope if they played moby's honey. that song and album are so killer.

I gotta say, I love that they have a loose theme on the night. I think it makes a 13 night stretch so much more interesting. If I still lived in NYC, I'd certainly catch one of these. I ain't traveling for it though. All my friends are going multiple nights.

Could be interesting but i feel like too much anticipation for a "jammy" show could lead to a big letdown.

We will see...

Off topic, but related bexause it's a "shows I would go to if I still lived in NYC."

Tame Impala just announced a Thursday show at the Cap. Pulled floor tickets. Obviously cannot go because I don't live in New York anymore. The concerts and museums are what I miss most, outside of my friends.

I've been twice, it's a great theater. Only like. 40-50 minute train ride, which is no different than the uws to park slope.

I'm pretty sure it's theirs.

At least I've assumed that was the case. I guess I've never really read anything confirming that.

venue is theirs, and pretty sure they posted a pic with gear set up in trey's apartment UWS practicing together pre-tour.

i would guess they are chilling, practicing and chilling on days off in NYC.

Maybe they just mean that it'll be jam packed with songs. Like maybe we'll get a 40+ song setlist.
