Good show.
Some great song selections....some not as great.

The least best of all BD so far.

Chalkdust was one of the major t00r highlights for me so far. The 4 of them were working together and listening to each other so well on that jam, it almost sounded like the old days.

Sexy thing had a cool jam.

Not much else from the show that I'm super blown away by, but certainly not a bad show either. Trey was on point and was really into it and had great energy last night.

Thud.

Chalkdust was good, the jam out of Sexy Thing wasn't bad (no comment on the song itself, lol), Mercury is always good too hear and Fee was abysmal.

They can't all be winners.

watched it in the backyard last night...solo....

like a typical 3.0 show, it had some ups, and some downs....

the ups were ok, the downs were bad...like usual.

trey's song selection continues to make me think he is just fucking with us.....he has to know pulling out mercury at that point was the worst decision he could have made. Number line sucked the royal bone as well.

But the CD was good, Divided Sky was great, I enjoyed the Destiny (page was doing some real herbie hancock stuff mid way through the song), the Sand was groovy, etc.

Worth the 32 dollars CAD for the HD feed.

Destiny was the best one in a while until they lost it.

Really good Divided Sky here.

Mercury was one of the shows highlights for me.

I'm pretty sure Trey isn't fucking with anyone. He's playing fucking great.

the jam was acceptable, but not enough to make the song a worthwhile placement.

Listened to the first set and the first couple o tunes today. Was driving a Miata down the highway with the headphones in...

Got Damn! You kids need to be upset about anything don't you.

What a great show.

That Chalkdust was like a China Rider on steroids.

I'm trying to follow here...worthwhile placement as in what, second song second set placement? Placement with the run? Playing it at all?

And that jam wasn't acceptable, that jam fucking smoked. It ripped coming out of Chalkdust, it ripped just before You Sexy Thing, and it was focused all the way through. If that Chalkdust jam was just acceptable what would you consider to be a quality jam?

Because to me you're analyzing Phish in some forensic type manner. I am definitely not hearing what you're hearing.

That's what you get when you follow the thread backwards and stop when you should keep going...lol.. my apologies to secondtube.

That said there was still nothing wrong with #line.

It sucked the energy out of the room for sure

But the jam quickly brought it back

It's a bad song, even if the jam is decent.

I like the song itself. It's not my first choice to see live but more often than not the jam itself is really good, which overall makes it worth hearing.

It's not like Velvet Sea which sucks the life out of a room on the first notes and then continues to zap every molecule until the next number.

One of my most hated Phish songs. It's a pretty bland song IMO. Not really a Velvet Sea fan (but has a much better melody IMO), but I'd much rather hear that over Number Line at this point.
