What they should do tomorrow night is take something like Simple...just throwing a song out there...and instead of finishing it briefly tease something like Tweezer right at the very end. Don't reprise it but don't full on play it, either. Let the internet go nuts trying to figure out if it's a legitimate repeat or not.

Tease medley ala 11/2/90 Bowie would be pretty hot. I was thinking that it would be hilarious if they played Simple and YEM in the 1st and left everyone to wonder what the hell they were going to do in Set II. I really hope there are some tricks up their sleeves.

Enjoyed last night more, but still a good show with some questionable song choices. The Boston Cream gag was awesome.

Best part?....the after party. By far. Danced more there than at the show. Blech.

Why complain? Phish has done something no one else would do, and have been completely organic with it. The cream Boston pie made.the night, everything else.was icing on the donut! One more night, I'm ready!

Not complaining, but it was probably the weakest 2nd set of the run. 1st set was great though.

Agree re no repeats. It's very cool that they did it. They did it more successfully than I thought they ever could. But in the end, Phish is a better band playing Tweezer, etc. more than once out of 13 shows.

Exactly. If they do another long stand next year I'd love to see a different gimmick that allows them to rotate songs instead of the no repeats thing.

I do expect a heater tonight.

First set was outrageously fun...thought the Ghost jam was the emotional apex of the run for me, and really dug the Petrichor, Light and Lizards...always love me a Rocky Top to close a set out.

So excited for the Simple jam tonight.

I hope they take it for a run. Play it earlier in the set, so they can have some fun with it.

I meantioned this the other day. It's wearing thin.

It really is. Outside of YEM and Simple there isn't much I dying to hear.

That's a natural result of no repeats.

Tonight they should ONLY play repeats.

I really liked the beginning of the first set, especially the Boston Cream mashup!! They lost me a little bit after that for the rest of the set. Set 2 I was not a big fan of minus Lizards obviously.

I actually didn’t dig the Boston Cream thing as much as I expected to. I wish they’d done it more like the Tweezer set at the Bomb Factory where it all flowed through the set, instead of just being a little seven minute bit.

Or they didn't execute a show as well as the previous ones in the tour. The ghost meandered then petrichor sucked the life out of the energy and they never really recovered. It's ok it criticize it for what it is (i.e. Not that great of show) without being an entitled baby.

But I can get being bummed coming home after being there andnreading honest opinions about it. That feeling sums up just about every phish show I've been to.

I thought it was a very good 1st.

And nicely done though light.

Although I did fall asleep during light lol.

Really, 2nd wasn't bad at all, if you rearrange that second set to create a little more flowing energy, it would be leaps and bounds better.

Agreed. Performances for the most part were strong. A couple questionable song placements did not ruin the show. Enjoyed Friday more, but still a very good show.

No one in my section seemed to mind.

We all had fun.

Would I have rather they didn't bother with Petrichor? Maybe, but it's no TTE, so no biggie.

Psyched for tonight. They still have a bunch of great songs to play. All this bitching about the no repeat thing getting in the way is total bullshit. They just haven't been picking the songs you want. That's happens all the time.
