Really happy that the 13 nights were only the 4 of them. Guest spots are fun, but it's cooler that they accomplished this with only themselves.

So is there anywhere to easily get all the BD downloads from?

I have LP app but need to get all of these in my collection. Really looking forward to being able to hit shuffle on all 13

When I get home I can upload my copy & PM links if people want them. Most likely tomorrow night. Need to recover from the BD weekend shows and traveling

That's if it stays up. I saw them raise one for the Dead back in '88 and that one came down. I really hope this one stays up right in Billy Joel's view. If not then at least acknowledge what Phish achieved in a prominent spot in the concourse. And then have Phish come back next year for at least another 13.

Phish was the best band in the world this summer. Stunning, stunning series of shows.

I really hope it stays up, but whether it does or it doesn't has no bearing on what they've accomplished, which is nothing short of magic.

Yep. This run has rejuvenated my fandom in a huge way. The five shows prior were no slouches either, but you could sense after Northerly Island and then the Pittsburgh Caspian they were heading towards something special.

I can't imagine this not being the norm from now on. A few shows at the start of the summer, Dicks at Labor Day weekend, and a residency in the middle. I mean clearly it worked for them this year, they'd be foolish to not do it again.

And do it at Madison Square Garden just to fuck with Billy Joel some more.

I can see these going the way of their festivals - one every 3-4 years

I don't get the feeling that they will ever do something like this again...it's something they've been talking about for years, they executed it beautifully and I think they will move on from this to a normal 3.0 schedule.

I think the BD was something they challenged themselves to do. It's done, time to move on now.

It kept travel costs down, it kept travel down, everyone came to them. They're not in their 30's anymore, no doubt being home and in that one spot helped keep the energy of those shows where it was from start to finish. Don't be surprised if they take over the Garden for the better part of a month next year with the only thing changing are the few venues they hit beforehand.

They may go back to a normal 3.0 touring schedule but I don't see it at this point in their career. On average how many venues less did they hit this year because of the residency? Couldn't have been all that many.

I don't see it being an annual thing, but I could see them doing something like this again in 2-3 years in lieu of a tour.

The only people who could fuck up a second residency would be the fans screaming the band's done and Trey's on oxy because there's no gimmick and no free donuts.

Band was better during BD 1.0.

Similar to what Olives said, I think the band viewed this run as a bucket-list type event. They had a unique concept and spent a lot of time planning everything out. I don't see them doing a 13 or more show residency ever again. Maybe something shorter, but there would have to be a great concept behind it.
