Frankly I just like opening the box and finding unique and fun items. I love all you people.

correct, one year mikesgordon did that, but it was dumb.

I "randomly" do it, but try to accept people that request someone specific. I also have kept each year's pairings in the same spreadsheet since I started doing this. I reference it to make sure none of the pairings are repeated. People come in and drop off enough that it isn't that difficult

LET THE HOLIDAYS BEGIN!

WE HAVE OUR FIRST DELIVERY!!!

I was lucky enough to receive gifts from PISHSUCKS. Thank you so much, I love them all!

Pretty sure this is the best packed package I've ever received. Kudos!

Image

Pepper wanted to verify the sturdiness of the box

Image

Love the wrapping!

Image

Pay dirt! Local (Seattle) roasted coffee, 2 bomb-ass bombers of tasty imperial ale, and the best present of all....a hand-embroidered guitar (edit: ukulele)! Mrs C_K was very impressed!)

Image

The beers shall rest and age nicely next to my 2017 Dark Lord until it's time to drink them!
Mrs. Capt_Kirk wanted to open and enjoy them tonight, but I convinced her they will only improve after some time passes.
Gonna be tough to wait, we'll see how long they last.

Image

The coffee simply won't have as long a lifespan as the beer, that's for sure.

Image

It hit the grinder immediately and was consumed within the hour, along with my mom's delicious cinnamon buns. Excellent coffee!

Image

The guitar (uke) looks perfect next to my acoustic. I love it!!!!!

Image

Folks, pay attention...this is how Secret Santa is done!

Merry Christmas pishsucks, and PHook!

And I think you should drink them any time :)

Very nice box of goodies right there.
I'm in the process tonight of making some homemade treats for my secret Santa. SO glad I chose to participate this year!

I’ve done some shopping and I have some more to do, but with the snow storm here in Georgia, things might be delayed. I apologize if my package goes out late.

Well well well,
Santa left me a message this morning, to be delivered straight to bmg.
Santa has left me very specific instructions regarding the pork roll, to relay to you, birdmadgirl

"Dear BMG,

Take the slices of pork roll and put 3 cuts in them about an inch long, along the edge, spaced evenly apart. (It'll help it lay flat while cooking. Otherwise they’ll get an air bubble - which is still good but makes for uneven browning.)Then throw them in a frying pan, with no oil, and cook until slightly brown on the edge - flip and the same. About 4-5 minutes each side on medium heat. Meant to be eaten in place of bacon, so with eggs or on the famous, pork roll, egg and cheese on a Kaiser bun :)"

Being an elf is fun.
